Individual Long-Term Psychotherapy

 

You may be in immediate distress, or have a deep and underlying sense of unease and may have lost your sense of purpose and direction. Whatever your story, a very broad range of issues can be addressed, including but not limited to anxiety, insomnia, depression, unfulfilling family bonds and relationships, lack of self-worth, a sense of feeling ‘different’ or not belonging, the impact of abuse, identity crises, grief and bereavement, childhood trauma. I work with people from all different backgrounds and belief systems, and once I've heard your reasons for coming, providing I think I can help and have space, you will be welcome in my practice.

Sessions are weekly and typically last for 50 minutes, and can be held online, or in person at one of my London practices in Berkeley Square or Cavendish Square.

Personal Coaching
​

You are looking for someone to bounce ideas off, to share what's going on for you and find clarity on how to move forward with a particular issue or set of challenges. Common challenges may include career transitions, making life changes after a milestone birthday, or retirement planning. Perhaps you've never opened up to anyone before and don't feel the need to work too deeply, but there is that something you think might be linked to a challenge you're finding hard to get to grips with, and you're curious as to how they might be linked.

For coachees wishing to work a little deeper, I also offer therapeutic coaching, a hybrid approach offering the best of both services.

We can meet as frequently as you want to, and sesions can be held online, or in person at one of my London practices in Berkeley Square or Cavendish Square.

SUPPORT FOR WOMEN

Women's Health

 

Women suffer uniquely with the impact of a wide variety of bodily changes and life stages, from preparing for an abortion, to the psychological effects of conditions like endometriosis or PCOS, the devastating impact of infertility, finally getting pregnant only to miscarry, a difficult pregnancy, to  having what may have been a long awaited baby only to discover it's hard to bond with them. If you're reading this, you will know it's not an exhaustive list...

Later in life we then deal with the stark hormonal imbalances and declines that bring about both the peri-menopause and menopausal stages of life. Ladies: it's a lot. I am the referring Psychotherapist for ObGyn Matters, a gynaecology practice based at London's Portland hospital, and commonly deal with many of these issues in my practice.

Whether you are looking to separate gracefully and end the relationship gently and carefully, or work through a crisis.

Book in for as little as 50 mins (although I recommend 90 mins for this type of work), and join me online, or in person at one of my London practices in Berkeley Square or Cavendish Square.

Relationship Coaching

Couples who are not in crisis may wish to have a course of relationship coaching, like an MOT. You may be looking to improve the quality and health of the relationship, or perhaps you have a specific challenge to navigate, such as planning for a baby, developing a care plan for an elderly parent, or working out how life together might evolve once the kids have flown the nest.

Blended Families​

 

My area of special interest, and the focus of my book, Step Up, is helping new blended families come together and form healthy bonds and attachments. Here, we work on improving communication styles, setting and understanding each others boundaries, and working towards the creation of a new family unit that works for you. Whether you are just embarking on your journey, or looking to reset a tricky dynamic, you are welcome to join one of my support groups, or see me for 1:1 work or with your partner, to work on this.​
